CUSTOM TAILORED TO YOUR STYLE

DESTROYER™ Tires come in a wide variety of paddle types to match your driving style and the horsepower output of your vehicle. Each paddle profile has been meticulously developed to provide the perfect amount of grip for each sport type.

Are all your paddle tires called “Destroyers”? What are your paddle choices?

Yes, all our paddle tires are called Destroyers. We offer several paddle options suitable for horsepower ratings from 75 to 1,000+. Our current lineup includes Slayers, Sliders, Shredders, and Nano Sliders. See our Destroyer Horsepower Ratings chart to find the best option for your application.

How much do your Destroyer paddle tires weigh?

Our 2-ply rated tires are designed to be lightweight while offering strong performance. Our front Mohawk tires weigh approximately 21 lbs for the 31” size and 23 lbs for the 32” size. Individual tire weights can vary slightly because each tire is hand-made in the USA. Destroyer tires are built with a focus on minimizing weight for better performance. Rear tires weigh slightly more depending on paddle count.

Why are your paddle tires buffed?

We precision-buff our tires to help provide good grip while keeping the tire weight low.

Why are your tires not buffed on the sidewalls?

We leave the sidewalls unbuffed to help reduce body roll in turns, support durability, and minimize the risk of air leaks. Our tire carcass was specifically engineered for sand use, and the sidewall design reflects that.

Why do your front tires have a Mohawk? What’s the diamond for?

Our Mohawk design offers two key advantages in a front tire: it pulls well in 4WD and functions as a steering tire instead of pushing in turns like many standard buffed tires. The diamond pattern is designed to pull effectively while also helping reduce sand kick-up.

What Destroyer paddle tire do you recommend for drag racing?

Our Slayer paddles are a strong choice for drag racing. The right option depends on your rear-wheel horsepower and the distance you plan to race. For high-horsepower vehicles, the Shredder paddle is often a good fit. See our Destroyer Horsepower Ratings to select the best option for your setup.

What does “roll out” mean?

Roll out is the exact circumference (in inches) of your paddle tire, which also lets you calculate the true outer diameter.
Formula: Roll Out ÷ π = Exact Diameter
Example: 102 ÷ 3.14 ≈ 32.5”

Why do my front tires have a taller roll out than my rears?

We build tires as a set of 4. We have a formula that determines what fronts match best with what rears. The rear paddle tires will have a larger rollout due to the paddles themselves.

Are your tires a true sizes?

Our new tire carcasses are built to be full size or slightly oversized, unlike some competitors whose tires can measure under the stated size.

I want an all-around dune tire. What do you recommend?

We recommend our Slayer paddles for all-around dune riding. They are versatile and perform well for bowl riding, sliding, and high-speed runs.

Are your tires specifically made for UTVs? And what ply are they?

No, Destroyer Paddle Tires are available in a wide variety of sizes and paddle types for many vehicles, including UTVs, ATVs, ATCs, and Sandrails. All Destroyers are 2-ply rated for lighter weight construction, with a focus on minimizing rotating mass.

Can your tires really handle the HP of my Sandrail?

Yes. We use a patented paddle adhesion process that creates a strong, permanent bond between the paddles and the tire. We offer 35” x 17” sizes for sand cars and Shredder paddles work well for this application. Paddle type and count can be selected to suit your vehicle and driving style.
